January 2026 Product Updates
Published on:
January 22, 2026
At Woven, every product update is driven by one goal: make it easier for enterprise multi-location teams to execute consistently without adding complexity for frontline leaders.
Our January 2026 enhancements focus on removing small but persistent friction points, especially in maintenance and scheduling, so managers can move faster, keep better data, and stay focused on the floor.
Here’s what’s new:
More Control Over Asset Management
Equipment inventories evolve. Until now, updating an asset’s category often meant recreating it from scratch, losing valuable historical data in the process.
With this update, asset categories can now be changed without recreating the asset. Maintenance teams gain more flexibility while preserving service history, usage data, and reporting accuracy.
Why it matters: Better data continuity means better decisions and less administrative cleanup.

Smarter Work Orders, Fewer Re-Entries
Work orders change. Context shouldn’t disappear with them.
Now, when a work order reason is updated, existing answers are preserved instead of reset. This keeps valuable operational insight intact and prevents teams from having to re-enter information.
Why it matters: Cleaner maintenance records and less rework for already busy teams.

Role-Based Visibility for Work Order Reasons
Not every role needs to see every work order reason.
This update allows admins to control which positions can view specific work order reasons, keeping workflows relevant and reducing unnecessary noise for frontline employees.
Why it matters: Focused visibility improves response time and reduces confusion across teams.

Improved Schedule Visibility for Cross-Trained Teams
For teams with cross-trained employees, scheduling flexibility is essential.
We’ve improved how cross-trained positions are displayed, giving managers clearer visibility when building schedules and making adjustments.
Why it matters: Smarter schedules, fewer gaps, and more confidence that the right people are in the right place.

Built for Real-World Operations
These updates may seem small, but together they add up to something bigger: less friction, better data, and more time back for frontline leaders.
That’s how we think about product development at Woven by removing the trivial administrative (administrivial, as we call it) work that slows execution and creates burnout as organizations scale.
As always, thank you to our customers for continuing to shape how Woven evolves.
